There have been 36 deaths reported on the Big Island.
There are now 13,300 cases reported in the state since the pandemic began, as one Oahu case has been removed from the total due to updated information.
Hawaii County reported 45 new cases today, its largest one-day total making its official case total 911 cases.
The City and County of Honolulu accounts for 109 of the newly reported cases, bringing its total to 11,896 cases.
Maui and Kauai counties report no new cases, making their official total 397 and 59 cases, respectively
According to DOH, 37 cases are residents diagnosed outside the state, one more than yesterday’s count.
So far, 911 cases have required hospitalization and 10,651 have been released from isolation as “recovered.”
The county will be providing free COVID-19 testing from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at West Hawaii Community Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway in Kona, and at Kamakoa Nui Park in Waikoloa village.
No insurance is necessary to be tested, but please bring your insurance card if you have one. There are no co-pay charges for individuals being tested.
