The state Department of Health reports that as of noon today, there are 94 new COVID-19 cases statewide and one additional deaths.
That brings the statewide number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 15,003 and the official death count to 216.
As a result of updated information, one Hawaii Island case and one Kauai case were removed from the count.
DOH didn’t immediately release information on the death.
Today’s new infection cases include 14 on Hawaii Island, 74 on Oahu, three on Maui, two on Lanai and one on Kauai.
That brings the total case numbers to 13,087 on Oahu, 1,259 on the Big Island, 407 on Maui, 99 on Lanai — which is going through a current outbreak, 17 on Molokai, and 64 on Kauai.
There have been 70 Hawaii residents diagnosed with the novel coronavirus while out of state.
Of those infected statewide, 1,097 have required hospitalization and 11,738 have been released from isolation as recovered.
As of today, there are 10 individuals hospitalized on the Big Island for COVID-19 and 40 deaths have been reported in Hawaii County.
Free drive-through COVID-19 testing is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Monday at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo. Please enter the parking lot from from Kuawa Street.
Testing is free and there is no co-pay but individuals with insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards with them, to wear a face covering and to observe social distancing.
