Police have charged 41-year-old Davi Franklin Alvarez Sr. of Hilo with second-degree murder for the stabbing death of a female acquaintance on Halloween at the Val Hala Apartment Complex on Puueo Street in Hilo.
Police have charged 41-year-old Davi Franklin Alvarez Sr. of Hilo with second-degree murder for the stabbing death of a female acquaintance on Halloween at the Val Hala Apartment Complex on Puueo Street in Hilo.
The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Noelle Keala Tamiko Buffett. Police say the stabbing took place in Buffett’s apartment.
Alvarez is being held in lieu of $1 million bail pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Wednesday in Hilo District Court.
