Hawaii County Civil Defense has reported 24 new COVID-19 cases on the Big Island.

As of this morning, eight individuals are hospitalized and 48 deaths have been reported, according to Civil Defense.

Testing will take place from 9 a.m.-noon Friday at the Keauhou Shopping Center in Kailua-Kona.
