Angelina “Angie” “Nana” Akana Alcosiba, 73, of Hilo and Las Vegas died Nov. 16 at home. Born in Kona, she was a retired officer manager at East Hawaii Cultural Center and member of Encourage Fellowship in Keaau. Private services at a later date. Survived by daughters, Andrea (Darren) Benevides of Hilo, Cindy (Neal) Nakamoto of Volcano and Donna (Chris) Lee of Las Vegas; son, Tommy Alcosiba of Las Vegas; brothers, Alfonso (Anita) Belanio, Jeffrey (Judy) Belanio and Craig Belanio; sisters, Glenda (Danny) Shirley, Estralita (Frank) Campogan, Gail (John) Reyes, and Althea (Rudy) Danao; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; aunts, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Gary Wayne Thomas Butts, 74, of Hilo died Nov. 14 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a former construction worker, baggage handler with Aloha Airlines, and U.S. Navy veteran.
