Police confiscated almost a pound of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin and $2,800 in cash Monday after serving a search warrant on an Ainaloa subdivision residence in Puna.
The search turned up 425.4 grams of methamphetamine, 0.4 grams of heroin, and various drug paraphernalia, police said. Police said the meth has a street value of about $21,000.
Jordan Kaneshiro, 33, was arrested and charged with two counts each of first- and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, plus possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kaneshiro’s bail was set at $120,000 and he had an initial appearance scheduled for Wednesday in Hilo District Court.
