Police seek leads on woman who escaped their custody

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 24-year-old woman who escaped from police custody at about 11:45 a.m. today in Pahoa.

Kelia Armstrong is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-1-inch tall, 110 pounds, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue athletic sports top, black leggings and was barefoot.

Anyone who sees Armstrong or who knows her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
