Haleiwa “Hale” Kalau, 80, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Honolulu, died March 18, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired supervisor for Ewa Brand Poultry. Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. COVID-19 restrictions will apply. For information, email kala_u@yahoo.com. Arthur “Atta” Michael Ronolo, 69, of Hilo died Feb. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired electrician for the former Hawaiian Electric Light Co. and member of the American Poolplayers Association, the Billiard Congress of America and the Kua‘aina Hawaii Kupuna Softball League. Celebration of life 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Haili Tent next to Panaewa Park with a drive-through option available for those wanting to remain in their vehicles.
