Burt Kaleialoha Jose, 63, of Oahu, formerly of Hilo, died March 23 at Wahiawa General Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hilo. Howard Namanu‘ulaokalani Loo, 80, of Waimea died April 19 at home. Born in Waipio Valley, he was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Hawaii County Public Works, a former bishop of the Honokaa Ward and a member of the Waimea 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memorial drive-through visitation 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 1, at the Waimea Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
