Ralph Robert Yackley, 77, of Kailua-Kona died May 4 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Aurora, Ill., he was a retired carpenter, member of the Hawaii Carpenters Union Local 745, Kona unit chair trustee for the union retirement fund, salesperson at Lowe’s, employee of the former Fantasia Furniture Store and U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
