The Monday edition of the Tribune-Herald’s “citizens arrested and charged” section erroneously listed Rose Lucille Burrows as arrested for and charged with trespassing. According to a police spokeswoman, Ms. Burrows was the reporting party and wasn’t arrested or charged, and the alleged trespasser is Tonia Renee Smith, who was also listed as arrested and charged in Monday’s edition. The spokeswoman attributed the erroneous listing of Ms. Burrows as arrested and charged on the police booking log on Aug. 3 as due to an “internal error.” “The department regrets the error,” the spokeswoman said in a Monday evening email.
