A new component of Hawaii’s COVID-19 vaccination incentive program hopes to “Vax Da Max,” and provide an incentive for those who are not yet vaccinated.
The next 10,000 people who initiate COVID-19 vaccinations and register at HIGotVaccinated.com are eligible to win new prizes as part of the ongoing #HIGotVaccinated campaign.
Only Hawaii residents 18 or older who have initiated at least one vaccination shot on or after Aug. 9 are eligible for Vax Da Max.
These individuals can enter the contest by clicking on the Vax Da Max section on the HI Got Vaccinated website.
The 500th person to register will win a $500-value prize pack from McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii, while the 1,000th person to register will receive a $125-value prize pack from Papa John’s Pizza Hawaii.
Prizes will be awarded at other vaccination milestones as follows:
• 2,000 – McDonald’s of Hawaii, $500 prize value
• 3,000 – Papa John’s Pizza prize pack, $125 value;
• 4,000 – McDonald’s of Hawaii, $500 prize value;
• 5,000 – Papa John’s Pizza prize pack, $125 value;
• 6,000 – McDonald’s of Hawaii, $500 prize value;
• 7,000 – Papa John’s Pizza prize pack, $125 value.
The 10,000th person to initiate vaccination and enter the Vax Da Max contest wins a San Francisco getaway for two, upon verification.
This includes roundtrip air fare for two on Alaska Airlines, two nights at the Handerly Union Square Hotel, and tickets for two to San Francisco Giants’ home games, provided by Duane Kurisu and the AIO Group.
The winner also will enjoy a bay cruise on the Red and White Fleet and a sightseeing excursion on Big Bus Tours, courtesy of the Handerly Union Square Hotel.
