Born in Papaikou, he was retired from Allied Aggregates Corporation as a quarry supervisor, truck driver and heavy equipment operator, member of Operating Engineers Local 3 and International Longshore and Warehouse Union , and formerly employed by Continental Equipment Rentals and Kuwaye Brothers Inc.
