An average of 688 new cases have been reported daily Aug. 16-22. More than 9,500 cases have been reported statewide in the past 14 days.
According to the DOH, 471 cases have been reported in Hilo and 407 in Kailua-Kona in the past 14 days.
In the same time frame, 142 infections have been found in Keaau, 106 in Waimea, 77 in the Waikoloa Village and Puako areas, 64 in the Captain Cook, Ocean View and Honaunau areas; 57 in Mountain View and 59 in Pahoa.
Hawaii County has an 8.4% test positivity rate, compared to the 8.3% positivity rate statewide.
Testing is available from noon to 4 p.m. today at the Kona Community Aquatic Center; until noon at the Cooper Center in Volcano, and again from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Cooper Center.
