Mildred “Millie” Miyeko Kawano, 94, of Waimea died Sept. 28 at her residence. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Services at a later date. No flowers. Born in Hilo, she and was a retired office manager for the former Morgan’s Service Station, retiree of Pacific Macadamia Nut Corp. and member of the Berean Bible Church and Choir. Public visitation 4-6 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 5) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Limited seating; face masks and social distancing required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral and graveside services will be private. Casual attire; no flowers.
