Police arrested an escapee from Hale Nani Correctional Facility this morning.
According to the state Department of Public Safety, 32-year-old Keahi Sale was taken into custody at about 9 a.m. in Hilo. He was discovered missing during a head count at 10:25 p.m. Friday.
Sale will be returned to the custody of Hawaii Community Correctional Center after police process an escape charge, DPS said.
