The Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce is a private, nonprofit business organization based in East Hawaii whose purpose is to assist businesses and promote the Island of Hawaii.
Founded in 1898, HICC has served as the voice of business of East Hawaii and brings businesses and professionals together to help build a stronger and more vibrant business community.
Based in Hilo, the HICC represents businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals who share the chamber’s goal, to provide leadership via services and advocacy for the business community while promoting the economic well-being of the island as a whole.
Membership Committee Chair Kapaelani Comstock has announced a concentrated effort to grow HICC’s membership to 333 total members by June 2022 with a fittingly named theme titled “The Road to 333 Membership Dr.
Hawaii Island businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals are welcomed to join this respected organization where you will be able to participate in networking and social events, educational seminars and presentations, and opportunities to showcase your business or organization.
Current chamber members who enroll a new member or persuade a current business member to elevate their membership level to a Special Investor status will have their names entered in a drawing for a chance to win one of several fabulous prizes from member businesses.
Prizes include an à la carte portrait session from Creation Swells Photography, oceanfront lunch for two at Hale Kai Restaurant at the Fairmont Orchid, and two round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines to a domestic destination.
