Born in San Juan, Abra, Philippines, he retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Co., was the owner of Ray’s Diner and attended Haili Congregational Church. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 20) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua section. Seating limited; masks and social distancing required. Casual attire. Officer: Ahmaud Arbery would have received trespass warning

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A police officer testified Friday he planned to give Ahmaud Arbery a trespass warning for repeatedly entering a home under construction before the 25-year-old Black man was chased and shot dead by neighbors who spotted him running from the property.
