Volcano Art Center is hosting a ‘make your own mosaic’ three-session workshop starting this weekend.
The workshop runs from 10 a.m.-noon, beginning Sunday, then continues on Sunday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 23, at Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.
Under the guidance of expert mosaic artist Michael Reeder, workshop participants will learn the basics of mosaic art using a prepared 9-inch x 9-inch wood template, developing their own personal design.
All supplies are provided, but attendees are welcome to bring their own special pieces.
