Starting Monday, the BIIF will allow a limited number of fans at a school’s discretion for all league winter sports, provided mandatory masks are properly worn (not below the nose) at all time by all spectators for indoor and outdoor events.
Starting Monday, the BIIF will allow a limited number of fans at a school’s discretion for all league winter sports, provided mandatory masks are properly worn (not below the nose) at all time by all spectators for indoor and outdoor events.
According to a release from the league Friday, individual schools will determine how many spectators are allowed in their venue. Physical distancing of at least 6 feet between groups of different households is mandatory.
Spectators must be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of the athletic event. Children ages 5 years and older are eligible for COVID vaccination are subject to all vaccination/testing requirements. Children 4 years and younger will not be required to test. Children 13 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
There will be no socializing before or after a BIIF athletic event.
Concessions will not be available at any regular-season BIIF venues at this time.
BIIF schools that use county facilities may be subject to county guidelines that may override BIIF guidelines.
