Born in Wailuku, Maui, she was a retired library technician at the University of California, Davis, Health Sciences Library and worked part-time at JCPenney, Uniglobe Southland Travel in Hayward, Calif., she was a member of Na Wai Puna O Kona, past member of Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna, Alu Like Kona, O Ka‘ahumanu Wahine Ali‘i Ahahui of Hayward, Calif., and Kaniohale Community Association Board of Directors.
