A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a structure in Tiki Gardens subdivision in Pahoa.
According to a Hawaii Fire Department statement, nine units responded to the 2:43 a.m. alarm. The first unit arrived 15-minutes later to find the one-story structure at the corner of Brookover Street and Paradise Court fully involved in flames.
The fire was reported under control at 3:18 a.m. and extinguished at 3:48 a.m.
The statement didn’t specify whether the structure was a home or another type of building, and no estimate of damages was provided.
No injuries were reported.
