The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island would like to acknowledge the Max and Yetta Karasik Family Foundation for its recent grant donation of $45,000.
This generous contribution helps to ensure the continuation of the club’s daily youth enrichment activities after school and to provide essential critical-needs resources for youth and families.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island remains committed to the children of Hawaii Island by providing access to the transportation, academic support, supplemental nutrition, and needed child care that many poverty-level youth are going without.
For more than 72 years, the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island has been supporting youth and families on Hawaii Island. It currently has nine out-of-school program locations based in the communities of Hilo, Keaau, Pahoa, Pahala, Ocean View, South Kona, Kahaluu and Kealakehe.
All of programs are free for children to attend.
Thank you to Dr. Richard Robbins and his wife, representing the Max and Yetta Karasik Family Foundation, for the continued annual support of the club’s youth development efforts.
