Kenneth Mun Wai Chun, 102, of Hilo died June 16 in Hilo. Born in Waiahole, Oahu, he was retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in 1977, delivered meals with his late wife, Alice, for Hawaii Meals on Wheels and volunteered with Hospice Hawaii, Kuakini Hospital, Makiki District Park, and Kamehameha, Mid-Pacific, Iolani, and Punahou schools, making haku leis for their ho‘olaulea and carnivals. They were lifelong members of Manoa Valley Church. After moving to Hilo, he volunteered at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home.
