Hilo Little League Majors competed in a three-team double-elimination tournament last month against West Hawaii Little League and North Hawaii Little League.

Hilo Little League shut out North Hawaii twice to claim the District 4 championship.

In Game 1 of the tournament, North Hawaii Little League beat West Hawaii Little League 16-0.

In Game 2, Hilo Little League defeated North Hawaii Little League 20-0.

In Game 3, North Hawaii Little League bested West Hawaii Little League 8-7.

And in Game 4, Hilo Little League defeated North Hawaii Little League 15-0.

Hilo Little League Majors will move on to the Little League State tournament held this week at Bryan J Baptiste Sports Complex on Kauai. Hilo’s first game will be on at noon Thursday against District 6.
