John Kaleinani “Johnny” “Mr. Aloha” Kai, 77, of Henderson, Nev., died May 17 in Henderson. Born in Hilo, he was a former Hawaii Police Department officer, security and personnel director for Hawaiian Holiday Macadamia Nut Co., co-founder of Royal Guard Security, security director for the Sheraton Portland (Ore.) Airport, roving manager for Holiday Retirement Co. facilities in Las Vegas and was a sportsman, youth sports coach and referee, 1963 St. Joseph High School alum, attendee of Hawaii Technical School and College of Marin, devout Christian and member of Church LV and Inspire Church.
