Island Faith Center presents “An Evening with Country Gospel Singer Wade Hammond,” which will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 at the Laupahoehoe Library Humanities Room (35-2065 Old Mamalahoa Highway, Laupahoehoe).

The event is free of charge, and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Wade is a singer/songwriter who has earned three number one hits through the Inspirational Country Music Association in Nashville, Tennessee. He has sung at the Grand Ole Opry House and has won the ICMA Male Vocalist of the Year award.
“We are overwhelmed that Wade has chosen to come bless our community with his music,” said Mary Jo Stevenson Fullen, pastor of Island Faith Center.
“Our desire is to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community, and breathe new hope to the hopeless,” she said.
Island Faith Center is a Foursquare Gospel Church and church plant from New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hilo.
