Hedness Edwin, 42, of Keaau died Jan. 1 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. Service 3 p.m. today to 10 a.m. Saturday at the family home, 16-1971 King Kamehameha Blvd. in Keaau. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Cheryline Ono, 70, of Kealakekua died Nov. 28 at St. Joseph Dignity Hospital in Phoenix. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired Kona district supervisor for the county Department of Motor Vehicles, co-owner of Ono’s Towing and member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and Akitsu Kumi.
