Born in Loaog City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a self-employed papaya farmer and member of First Born Temple Church in Hilo. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Services at 6 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at First Born Temple in Hilo. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Survived by wife, Isabel M. Stanton Karl Lancaster, 72 of Hilo died April 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Oahu, he was a retired plumber, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam War veteran.
