Have ‘Coffee with a Cop’ in Hilo or South Kohala
Hawaii Police Department’s South Hilo and South Kohala Community Policing Sections invite the public to join them for Coffee with a Cop at two events in Hilo and a third in South Kohala.
Members of the public are invited to share their thoughts and ideas, while also getting to know the men and women of Hawaii Police Department who work to keep our island communities safe.

These popular sessions have no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
The Hilo Coffee With a Cop events are:
• Tuesday, May 16, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Safeway Starbucks, 381 Makaala St. in Hilo, and
• Friday, May 26, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Starbucks adjacent to Prince Kuhio Plaza, 111 E. Puainako St. in Hilo.
The South Kohala Coffee With a Cop event is 7-10 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Mauna Lani Coffee Co., 68-1330 Mauna Lani Dr. No. 300, Mauna Lani.
