William Ronald “Ron” Dolan, 69, of Hilo died Feb. 15. Born in Chelsea, Mass., he was a retired certified public accountant, member of the Rotary Club of Hilo, Hawaii Association of Public Accountants, Hawaii Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, Big Island Estate Planning Council, Hawaii Island Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, Ancient Order of Foresters Court Mauna Kea No 8854 and member and past Commodore of Hilo Yacht Club,. He was a voracious reader, second-degree black belt in aikido, and enjoyed traveling. No koden (monetary gifts).
