COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced its 47-game national television package Wednesday for the 2023 football season.
CBS Television Network will broadcast three non-conference games, CBS Sports Network will televise 27 contests, and FOX Sports will air 17 games this coming season.
The Mountain West’s national television slate begins on Saturday, Aug. 26, with San Diego State hosting Ohio at 4 p.m. PT on FS1.
The Week 1 schedule is highlighted by four nationally televised home games, including two CBS Television Network broadcasts. The weekend begins with UH-Manoa hosting Stanford on Friday, Sept. 1, at 5 p.m. HT on CBS Sports Network. CBSSN will also televise the Washington State at Colorado State (5 p.m. MT) and Idaho State at San Diego State (7:30 p.m. PT) matchups on Saturday, Sept. 2.
CBS will nationally televise Wyoming’s home game against Texas Tech at 5:30 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 2, and conclude the weekend with a Sunday, Sept. 3 broadcast of the Oregon State at San José State game. Kick-off is set for 12:30 p.m. PT.
The third CBS game of the year will showcase UCLA at San Diego State at 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 9.
All three CBS matchups will also stream live on Paramount+.
The Mountain West opener featuring Air Force hosting Utah State on Friday, Sept. 15, will kick at 6 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network.
The 2023 Mountain West Football Championship Game on Saturday, December 2, will be televised on FOX at 1 p.m. MT / Noon PT / 10 a.m. HT. The 2023 MW season will feature a single-division format for the first time since 2012, and the two teams with the highest Conference win percentage will compete in the championship game.
FOX Sports kick times and outlets will be determined during the regular season (generally a 12-day window).
Additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports (Hawaii), and regional/local/school broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
