Forecasters are keeping an eye on Tropical Depression 4-E.

The system is in the Eastern Pacific and was 2,095 miles east-southeast of Hilo as of 5 a.m. today.

The storm is packing maximum sustained winds of 35 mph with higher gusts and is moving west-northwest at 20 mph.

Little change in strength is forecast during the next day, but forecasters are predicting gradual weakening to a remnant low pressure system sometime over the weekend.
