Michael Dean Pepple, 79 of Volcano died June 3 in Hawaii. Born Kansas City, Mo., he was a retired auto mechanic. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Chrystal Leona Maelynn Raquel, 37, of Hilo died July 5 at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was a former deli clerk at Sack N Save in Downtown Hilo. Leonora Sensano, 97, of Pepeekeo died Saturday, June 10, at home. Born in Lahaina, Maui, she was a retired loan clerk and teller for Pepeekeo Federal Credit Union and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Pepeekeo Filipino Association and Immaculate Heart of Mary Filipino Club. Ronald Carter Todd Sr., 86 of Hilo died July 14. A Hilo native, he was a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer, who loved the Navy, Hawaii, John Wayne and the San Francisco 49ers.
