Alan David Delatorre, 72, of Kailua-Kona died July 21 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was a grocery clerk for Sack N Save, landscaper for Hawaii Island Lawns, janitor for JW Cleaning Systems, cook for KTA Super Stores in Kailua-Kona and member of the Church of Christ. Wake service and all-night vigil 6 p.m. will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 15) at the family’s home, 76-6165 Plumeria Rd., Kailua-Kona. Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 16) at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by wife, Marina Delatorre of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Alvina Sagun of Kailua-Kona; daughter-in-law, Helen Delatorre of Kailua-Kona; brother, Glenn Delatorre of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Laverne Acosta of Honolulu, Sandy (David) Rapoza and Valerie Elbow of Hilo; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary Lei Ah Hee Kubo, 95, of Keaau died July 22. Born in Pahoa, she was retired and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Private services held. Eufrocina Sales Nicolas, 86, Keaau died June 24 in Chicago, Born in the Philippines, she was a retired factory worker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and member of Puna United Covenant Church. Visitation 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Puna United Covenant Church in Keaau. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Survived by children, Endrelina S. (Jason) Baldivino of Chicago, Ludivina B.
