James Kealoha Beach Park, also known as “Four Mile,” in Keaukaha will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Friday this week.

The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation will be restriping the park’s roadway and parking areas during this time.

The public can access the beach park after the work is done each day until closing time at 7:30 p.m.

The work is weather-dependent, but every effort will be made to avoid delays in reopening the park, according to Cyrus Johnasen, public information officer for the mayor’s office.

For more information about the park’s closure, call Parks and Recreation at 961-8311.
