Clayton W. Arruda, 83, of Hilo, died Oct. 5. Born in Hilo, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a Hawaii County housing inspector. Celebration of life to be held Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Volcano Assembly of God Church, with a light lunch to follow. Chastity “Chas” Melissa Baucom, 47, of Hilo, died Sept. 25 at home. She was a Hawaii Tribune-Herald deliverywoman and worked at the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council. Frank Henry Bragg, 72, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 30 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in San Francisco, he was a real estate entrepreneur and retired plumber. No services. Jeffrey Allen Freeman, 70, of Waikoloa, died Oct. 22 in Kamuela. Born in Harrisville, Mich., he was vice principal of Waikoloa Elementary School. Private services held. Daryl Yoshiaki Fujimoto, 69, of Keaau, died Sept. 9 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Honokaa, he was a retired HomeWorld general manager.
