Lenore Van Gieson-Serrao, 88, of Hilo died Oct. 24 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was the first executive housekeeper for the former Hilo Lagoon Hotel and later the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, and worked at the University of Hawaii Hilo, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
