Hatsumi Nakamura, 103, of Oahu, formerly of Hilo died Oct 4 at her daughter’s home on Oahu. Born in Mountain View, she was a florist at the former Hilorchids, owner and proprietor of the former Hotel Palm Terrace in Puueo and worked at the county clerk’s office. Private service in Hilo before reuniting with husband Amos at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetary No. 2. Survived by daughters, Sherrie Lou of Oahu and Leila (Joseph) Victor of Hilo; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Saeko Kuramoto Sato, 90, of Hilo died Nov. 7 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center.
