Ellen Lee Johnson, 97, of Papaikou died Nov. 12 at home. Born in Fort Scott, Kan., she was a reservation agent for the former Trans World Airlines, state Department of Education Chapter 1 tutor and parent involvement coordinator, Girl Scout leader, and member of Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, and Hilo United Methodist Church.
