Kenneth Masao Kubo, 89, of Hilo died Nov. 12 at Hilo Medical Center. Benjamin K. Raymond, 86, of Kapaau died Nov. 26 at home. Born in North Kohala, he was a retired laborer for the former Kohala Sugar Co. and Dicks Construction, Pankow Construction, Hawaii Dredging and Goodfellow Brothers, retired worker for Kohala Nursery, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and member of Kohala Senior Citizens Club, a founding leader of Hui Mamalahoa and was involved in numerous North Kohala baseball and basketball organizations.
