Police ask for help in locating woman, child missing since 2022

Police are once again requesting assistance in locating a 39-year-old Kona woman and her 6-year-old daughter who haven’t been seen in more than a year.

Tara Lasham and her daughter Solenne Grimes were last seen in Ocean View on July 27, 2022. Lasham is wanted on an outstanding warrant and for questioning relating to a custodial interference investigation.

Lasham, described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair, is known to frequent areas in both North and South Kona.

Grimes is described as 3 feet 5 inches tall, 35 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
