Police ID Maui man killed in Kona traffic crash
Police have identified a Maui man killed in a pickup truck rollover crash Sunday in Kailua-Kona as 31-year-old Christopher Keaulama Liftee of Kihei.
Liftee was the only occupant in the silver 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup, and police believe speed and impairment are possible factors in the crash. Liftee was not wearing his seatbelt.
Liftee’s death was the first traffic fatality this year.
