Born in Koloa, Kauai, she owned Pahoa Puna Buy and Sell, worked for Island of Hawaii YMCA, was newly elected as president of Nanawale Association and Men of Pa‘a, board member of Pahoa Main Street and its Pahoa Christmas Parade chair, and was affiliated with Malama ‘O Puna, Kanaka Ha‘aheo and Pahoa Neighborhood and other community organizations and events.
