A number of Hilo bars and restaurants are preparing for a busy Sunday when the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will face off in the 57th Super Bowl.

The Chiefs (14-6) are aiming to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champs in 19 years when they face the 49ers (14-5) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

“From our perspective, we couldn’t have asked for a better match-up,” said Cronies Bar and Grill manager Makena Bedsaul. “We have a lot of Chief and 49ers fans, so it should be a fun time.”

The game begins at 1:30 HST and will be broadcast on CBS and on Nickelodeon. Usher will be performing in the halftime show.
