Ryan Harrison Kaleookalani Brown, 52, of Naalehu died January 10. Born in Honolulu, he was self-employed in construction. Celebration of life 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Kualoa Ranch on Oahu. One-year memorial Friday, Jan. 10, in Naalehu. Details at a later date. Evelyn B. dela Cruz, 75, of Waikoloa died Aug. 26 at Tanza Specialists Medical Center in Cavite, Philippines. Born in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines, she was a loving wife, mother and graudmother. James William “Kimo” Hoopai Sr., 87, of Kohala, died Jan. 7 at home. Born at Puuhue, Kohala, he was a retired cowboy foreman for Ponoholo Ranch and 2000 inductee into the Hawaii Cattlemen’s Association Paniolo Hall of Fame.
