Hedy (DeLima) Franklin, 81, of Keaau died Feb. 26 at Legacy of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she worked in hotel management, banking and office manager of a dental facility. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday (April 9) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Celebration of life Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Casual attire; no flowers. Michael David Kamm, 84, of Keaau died March 17 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wyandot, Mich., he was a licensed massage therapist, independent contractor and educational assistant at Pahoa Elementary School. Private services held. Richard Park Kim, 95, of Hilo died March 18 at a private care home. Born in Honolulu, he was a pharmacist, locksmith and U.S. Navy Korean War-era veteran. Services at a later date at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. Wayne George Lawrence Sr., 72, of Papaaloa died March 18 at home. Born in Haina, he was the retired owner of Hawks Lawn Service and Rainbow Runner Shave Ice, worked for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
