Police: Decomposed body has ‘suspicious’ injuries
Police have initiated an unattended death investigation after human remains were discovered on an Ocean View property.
Shortly before 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, West Hawaii Criminal Investigations Section detectives responded to a property located on the 92-8700 block of Lotus Blossom Lane on the report of a decomposed body.
According to police, the male body had injuries that appeared to be of suspicious origin. Due to the advanced stages of decomposition, the man’s identity and the exact cause of death could not be determined.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
