William “Bill” Llewellyn Lloyd, 77, of Hilo died April 8 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Maryland, he was a teacher and musician with education degrees from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, league softball player and sports fan, including Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. Survived by daughter, Malia Lloyd of New Jersey; sons, Aaron Lloyd of Kailua-Kona and Justin Spilman of California; life partner, Indi Gallina, and her children, Joy, Rhea and Ryan; sister, Jo-Anne Tedford and her family of Maryland; eight grandchildren.
