Police arrested a 19-year-old student after a disturbance Tuesday at Konawaena High School.

Kalani Piko of Captain Cook has been charged with disorderly conduct.

Officers responded to the school at about 11:14 a.m. to an affray-type call. Prior to officer’s arrival, Piko was reportedly on campus yelling and using profanity at school staff.

The school was placed on lockdown until the incident could be resolved.

Officers made multiple requests for Piko to leave the school grounds before arresting him. The school lockdown was lifted after police removed Piko from the campus.

Piko was released from police custody after posting $100 bail.
